THIS DRIVER TRAINING CAN ONLY BE GRADUATED IN ONE SINGLE DAY!
The driving license regulation does not require a test for class B96 , but only seven-hour driver training .
What do you have to do for the new class B (96):
You have to register for a driver training course of at least 7 hours in a driving school. The schedule includes 2.5 hours of theory with traffic regulations, information on vehicle dynamics, correct loading and correct balance of the vertical load.
This is followed by 3.5 hours of practice in which lane changes, braking and parking are practiced. Then 1 hour in traffic .
At the end the participant receives a certificate . With the certificate and a biometric picture , the driving license class B number 96 can then be added to the driver's license office.
DRIVING LICENSE SIMPLIFIED WITH TRAILER
The driving license class B96 "driving license of class B with the key number 96", abbreviated to B96, came into force on January 19, 2013. The B 96 is an extension of the well-known B driver's license.
It can be purchased faster and cheaper than the BE class.
At least seven hours of driver training must be completed in a driving school in order to be able to drive car-trailer combinations with a gross vehicle mass of between 3.5 and 4.25 tons, with a gross vehicle mass of more than 750 kilograms. In the future, holders of the new B96 driving license will be able to move around 90 percent of all caravans.
