Training class B197

Under the following conditions, the new national code number B197 offers the possibility of driving a switching truck, although the training and driving test are completed on an automatic vehicle:

At least 10 driving hours of 45 minutes each on a switching truck integrated into the training, so there is no increase in the driving hours required.

Code number 197 no longer contains any restrictions, so you can then drive switchgear trucks worldwide.

After a 15-minute test drive with your driving instructor as part of a driving lesson on a switching truck, the ability to change gears is certified by the driving school without further testing.
